Glenelly, Glen Ellen, CA

These intimate getaway cottages were added to the historic inn in Glen Ellen. Nestled into a hillside the structure feel as they were built along with the 100 year old stage house. Our attention to the massing and location of these buildings added a sense of completeness to the one acre site. Stone retaining walls anchor the buildings and ground the architecture. The wide board siding was milled to match the original material. Trellises and arbors are integrated into the building to soften the edges and invite climbing roses.
